We learn a great deal about Jesus’ view of children (and therefore what our view should be as well) when the disciples rebuke parents for bringing their children to Him. However, that truth is used by Jesus to teach yet another truth. We learn who is a part of, and how one enters, the Kingdom of God.
God’s Kingdom is not entered by the strong, the important, and the self-reliant; instead, it is entered by the weak, the un-important, and the dependent.
To enter God’s Kingdom, one must receive it, in child-like fashion.
