The beginning of it all

This Sunday we enter the book of Genesis where we will behold our God’s powerful and beautiful work of creation. Throughout the Psalms, the Psalmist, reflects in wonder and is moved to worship in light of God’s work of creation (Ps. 8:3-8; 19:1; 24:1-2; 33:6-9; 65:9-13; 95:3-5; 102:25; 104; 121:2). I’d encourage you to read through Genesis 1-3 this weekend. Though my sermon Sunday will only make it to Genesis 1:1-3a, the more familiar you are with the chapters the easier it will be for you to see how story connects.
