The King sets up His image

On the last half of the sixth day, the King of Creation sets up his image on Earth. Man as image bearer is clothed with God’s glory, is sanctified from the rest of creation, created as a Son of God, and commissioned to serve God through filling the earth with the glory of God as God’s king on earth so that the Kingdom of God would be consummated. To understand what it means to be human is to understand what it means to be made in God’s image.
