What's the bible about? Part 4 The old covenant

How does the Old Covenant fit in the overall story of Scripture? It serves as the scaffolding for the building, or the 3-D model for the final product, which is the New Covenant in Christ Jesus. The Old Covenant, is not a failed plan of God that needed a replacement plan after it didn’t work. The Old Covenant is the next phase in the overall plan of God to redeem His people.

As the series continues to show, the Bible tells one unified story of God’s actions through Christ to save a people for Himself for His own glory. May we see this story, may we rejoice in it, and may we glorify the God who is its Author.
