Knowing our place

Paul has been dealing with the problem of division over ministry personalities. Here, he does so by bringing back to the forefront the topic of godly vs. worldly wisdom. Paul reminds them who they are in Christ. And because of who they are in Christ, they should realize that they don’t belong to particular ministers, but instead ministers are gifts given to minister to the church. Worldly wisdom causes us to factionalize, godly wisdom causes us to see our place in Christ.

We must understand our place in Christ.
